Simple and fun
It's a nice engine. However engine isn't fun for long.
Nice work on the solar halo, that was a nice touch.
Somethings to improve the game engine/ gameplay would be a wrong way indicator, a player position indicator or a score by meters/seconds to see how far ahead or behind you are.
I also agree that the track could be more visable.
If you really want to take this game idea to the next level, try some brighter level designs and powerups (boost would be great)
But over all nice concept and good work with the 3D
This game was really fun. The engine was solid, the world was interactive. My only problem is that on the level with purple ground i got to the end and had defeated EVERYONE but it said i needed to be lvl 6. What the hell am i supposed to do? Its not good mechanics if a player gets stuck.
My only other suggestion would be to have a list of the powers you've unlocked in the pause screen so you know which controls to use.
Good game but...
There are some serious issues.
Still buggy... not good for a public release.
I noticed times when firing where the power bar didnt even appear.
Plus the private game element is poorly designed. I dont want my friend to have to load the game every time he wants to play a private match with me by following some link... PASSWORDS PEOPLE!
Despite it lacking this important feature, It is very fun to play, quite competitive.
Good idea, bad implementation
I mainly looked at the Art and design tutorials because they were what appealed to me most. It wasnt a great tutorial, the menu was bad and to get back to the Art page i wanted to see i had to go back to the main menu everytime - not good
The tutorials should have been checked, The bouncing one, there was no squash, it didnt look realistic.
The run cycle... it didnt look that good and it would have been better if it dealt with the whole body rather than just the legs. The feet arent always facing forward, in cartoons, the motion is exagerated and the feet should rotate around the ankle accordingly.
I did however find the shooting tutorial useful, but i dont know if id ever put shooting in a flash... so thats it.
Could you tell me how to improve it? It runs fine on my system, and your the first one who has told me that it is badly designed. Care to elaborate?
It was fun
It was fun for a while but got old fast
I think to improve a sequel - mayve improve the controls, i thought the web was going to stick to stuff, instead it stick to mid air... Also, i wished i could climb up and down the web freely and build some momentum to swing, that would be a good feature.
I think if you make the controls more fun to play and add some bonus features and more power ups ect it could be a really good game
Awesome game play, i just didnt get how to use the space bar
I loved teh gameplay and the engine, my complaint is loging in. Grrr, sometimes it just wont let me, says it cant get in, or "Undefined" And sometimes when i play the counter reaches zero on my opponents turn and nothing happens so i quit, and log back in but i cant! But other than that i really enjoy playing
I really liked it. The game play was good. The graphics were very intensive however. I guesse my main point is that this game is good but it isnt amazing. Its definatly better than most of the games on newgrounds.
I think if the game had story, and more content it would be in the 4.4 area simpyl because the gameplay here was incredibly fun, there just wasnt a lot of it.
I think im saying what a lot of ppl have said
I must say this is going to take flash games to the next level. Soon well be able to see flash FPS where you can actualy run around. Although i did try some of the other AWAY3d demos, things like Temple.swf lagg around water so obviously we arent there yet. But this game even though short, was a huge step forward
Truly amazing concept, and fun to play. Definatly worth a seqeul, bring in some new ideas or something.
